About me
I have experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in a range of settings, including crisis support, inpatient and outpatient group therapy, working with older adults, and children with additional needs.

I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive process grounded in genuine care, empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practice. My aim is to work alongside you, make you feel supported to better understand the factors shaping your experiences and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. I am passionate about helping people recognise their own resilience, growth, and inner strengths along the way.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I recognise the importance of feeling seen, safe, and understood. While my lived experiences have shaped my empathy and perspective, I remain deeply client-centred, recognising that every person’s story is unique. My aim is to create a supportive and affirming environment where clients can explore life’s challenges and work towards meaningful change.

Area of Interest

  • Anxiety, stress and depression
  • Life transitions and navigating change
  • Relationship and interpersonal challenges
  • Identity and sense of self
  • Gender identity, sexuality, and LGBTQIA+ experiences
  • Perfectionism
  • Boundary setting

Therapeutic Frameworks
My approach is client-centred and integrative. By drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, I tailor treatment to suit your individual needs, aspirations, and goals. Some of the evidence-based frameworks I use include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

What do you love most about the job? What drives you?
What I love most about this work is the privilege of supporting people through vulnerable moments and witnessing their growth, resilience, and self-discovery. I also value the fact that psychology is a profession of lifelong learning, allowing me to continually grow as a practitioner and as a person.

Three values that you bring to therapeutic practice?
Inclusive, authentic, grounded.

Three words that describe you the most?
Inside the therapeutic room, I aim to be warm, genuine, and attuned. Outside of the therapeutic space, I am motivated, ready to relax, and mindfully present.

What keeps you busy outside of work? What things are you learning at the moment? Interests, hobbies, etc.
Outside of work, I love learning, whether that’s keeping up with new psychology research or professional development, or entertaining my hobbies of attempting to paint or sketch (with enthusiasm rather than skill). I love spending time with the people I care about, whether that’s laughing over coffee with friends or making home-cooked meals with family. I enjoy playing with my fluffy cat, Honey, who spends most of her days either asleep or endlessly grooming her long coat (which keeps my vacuum very busy).

How do you play?
I recharge by throwing toys for my cat to fetch (the bringing them back is somewhat hit and miss), listening to music at the gym, or going for long walks in the sunshine (one of my favourite things).
