I am a student currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Arts at university.
About me
I really enjoy being a friendly, familiar face to clients and striving to foster a welcoming and comfortable environment here at Immersive. The quick conversations before and after appointments are truly a highlight to my day and help me get through the busy periods at work.
Background + special interests
Psychology has always been a great interest of mine, ever since I had the opportunity to undertake studies in it during high school. I am really looking forward to discovering new psychological concepts and topics throughout my degree, but if I had to choose a favourite topic at the moment I would say early adolescent development. I find this topic extremely eye-opening as it resonates with me and it is fascinating to explore as it is very broad yet still dives deeply into complex details. Additionally, I enjoy discovering the historical origins of different theories and the associated experiments conducted by theorists as it allows me to understand and appreciate the evolution of psychology over time.

What keeps you busy outside of work? What things are you learning at the moment? Interests, hobbies, etc.
My university studies are currently a significant focus in my day-to-day life, however in my spare time I love finding hidden café gems in Perth with my dad and catching up over a cup of coffee! Recently, I had the opportunity to undertake my first solo travelling journey which taught me so much about both the world and myself. As a result, I am actively making an effort to be more open-minded and say “yes” more often to discover new passions. I am loving trying new mindfulness activities like walking, gardening or pilates to help reset and unwind after long days.
How do you play?
If listening to music counts as a hobby, it would definitely be mine! I pretty much always have it playing in the background throughout my day so of course I love discovering new tunes, or exploring more of the music I already enjoy. This hobby extends into a love for going dancing (or at least attempting to) with my friends and learning my favourite songs to play on my guitar.
