Age Groups
I work across the lifespan.

About me
I have experience in seeing clients across the lifespan, starting with children through to adulthood. I’m quite eclectic in my choice of therapies; I find that the more flexible I am about which therapy to lean into, the better the outcomes for the client. I have found Cognitive‑Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (family of origin), Solution‑Focused Therapy and behavioural approaches helpful. All my work is undergirded by Interpersonal Therapy and interpersonal neurobiology. I also enjoy being able to hypothesise about how one’s meaning in their life plays a role in the presentation of psychological symptoms.

I worked in the Neonatal Unit of King Edward Memorial Hospital for over a decade (and do not miss the difficulty of parking). I am a board‑approved supervisor (primary supervisor for registrars with endorsement in clinical psychology) and an adjunct research fellow at the University of WA. Variety of work is important to me — I am guilty of presenting posters and workshops internationally and locally on a variety of psychological interests. I also work at The Kids Research Institute as Clinic Lead for Clinical Psychology (CliniKids), supporting families impacted by developmental delays and neurodiversity.

Background & Special Interests
I’m passionate about helping clients understand the meaning behind their emotional experiences, and how early life experiences shape present‑day patterns. I’ve presented at conferences locally and internationally on a variety of topics related to mental health and development.

What do you love most about the job?
I love walking alongside people as they rediscover self‑worth, create emotional safety, and build a life aligned with their values. Witnessing those shifts — no matter how small — is a genuine privilege.

Three words that describe you in therapy?
Curious, grounded, compassionate, solution‑focused, humorous.

What keeps you busy outside of work? What things are you learning at the moment? Interests, hobbies, etc.
Outside of work, I enjoy being walked by my Rhodesian Ridgeback, and I’m an informal lobbyist for pickleball in the Olympics 😉.

How do you play?
Dog adventures, café chats, outdoor walks, telling dad jokes.
